jOPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 119 After Submerging Summary of the procedure NOTICE If water enters the engine it will cause severe damage. Do not operate the watercraft with water in the engine. Do not try to start the engine until it is completely empty of water. If water gets into the engine, follow this procedure immediately! If water is left in the engine more than a few hours, it will destroy the crankshaft bearings and damage other internal engine parts. If the watercraft is swamped, water may enter the engine through the throttle body. Water also may enter the fuel tank. Please note that since this watercraft is equipped with a supercharger, special care is needed when water has entered it. You need systematic inspections and remedies for a swamped watercraft. The following procedure explains the necessary steps you must take. Carefully read the summary of the procedure first, and then the detailed steps. j
