one foot, using your body weight to roll the cap-
sized craft toward you.
As the craft rolls over toward you, reach for the far
side of the hull, if needed, and pull it on over.
NOTICE
Rolling
the
capsized
watercraft
counter-
clockwise (to its STARBOARD side) can
cause water in the exhaust system to run into
the engine, with possible engine damage.
Always turn the capsized boat clockwise so
that the PORT side always faces downward.
