34 GENERAL INFORMATION j WARNING HAZARD Looking at fuel tap while riding. WHAT CAN HAPPEN Can cause loss of control and result in injury or death. HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD Practice operating the fuel tap with the vehicle stopped. To prevent an accident you should be able to operate the fuel tap while riding without taking your eyes off the terrain. Ignition Switch Functions of the respective switch positions are as follows: OFF: All electrical circuits are switched off. The key can be removed in this position. ON (•): The taillight can be turned on. With the engine stop switch at run ( engine can be started. The key can not be removed. ), the WARNING HAZARD Hot engine. WHAT CAN HAPPEN Can burn your hand.
