MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT 127 Battery The battery is located under the seat. DANGER HAZARD Batteries contain sulfuric acid. Batteries produce hydrogen gas. WHAT CAN HAPPEN Sulfuric acid can cause burns. Hydrogen gas can cause an explosion. HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD Read and understand the battery safety label. The battery installed in this vehicle is a sealed type, and the sealing strip should not be removed at any time after the specified electrolyte has been installed in the battery for initial service.
