MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT 131 WARNING HAZARD Loose battery cables. WHAT CAN HAPPEN Can create sparks which can cause a fire or explosion resulting in injury or death. HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD Make sure the battery terminal screws are tightened securely and the covers are installed over the terminals. Fuse When frequent fuse failure occurs, it usually indicates a short circuit or an overload in the electrical system. See your authorized Kawasaki dealer for repair. NOTICE To prevent accidental short-circuiting, turn off the ignition switch before checking or replacing a fuse. j NOTICE Do not reverse the battery connections, or damage to the regulator/rectifier unit will result.
