GENERAL INFORMATION 33 j Fuel Tap The fuel tap supplies fuel from the fuel tank to the carburetor. The fuel tap has three positions. OFF: With the lever and "∆" mark in this position fuel will not flow. Always turn the lever to this position when the engine is not running With the lever "∆" mark in this position, fuel flows to the carburetor. Normal riding is done with the lever in this position. This indicates reserve. If you run out of fuel while riding, turn the lever "∆" mark to this position. ON: 1. Fuel Tap 2. "∆" mark RES: ○Since riding distance is limited when on "RES", refuel at the earliest opportunity. ○Make certain that the fuel tap is turned to "ON" ("Not" "RES"), after filling the fuel tank. NOTE

Fuel Tap
The fuel tap supplies fuel from the fuel tank to the
carburetor.
The fuel tap has three positions.
OFF:
With the lever and “
” mark in this
position fuel will not flow. Always turn
the lever to this position when the

ON:
With the lever “
” mark in this position,
fuel flows to the carburetor. Normal
riding is done with the lever in this
position.
RES:
This indicates reserve. If you run out of
fuel while riding, turn the lever “
