Preparation Operation Connecting other equipment RS-232C FLASHER IN Connect an external control device or other device for servicing. (Use a straight cable for the connection.) External control device This unit can be controlled by connecting a control box or other control device to this unit. Control box or control device Remote control jacks connection If this unit is connected to a Marantz amp, the amp can be controlled via this unit using the Marantz Remote App or web control function (vpage 39). Also, remote control signals received by the amp can be used to control this unit. nnConnection Use the supplied remote connection cable to connect the REMOTE CONTROL IN terminal of this unit to REMOTE CONTROL OUT terminal of the amplifier. nn Setting Set the remote control switch on the rear panel of this unit to "EXT." to use this feature. • This setting will disable remote sensor reception of this unit. • To operate the unit, point the remote control at the remote sensor of the amplifier. Set to "EXT." The unit GND Monaural mini-plug cable Signal To use this unit without connecting it to the amplifier, set the remote control switch to "INT.". Remote control jacks connection
If this unit is connected to a Marantz amp, the amp can be controlled via this unit using the
Marantz Remote App or web control function (

). Also, remote control signals
received by the amp can be used to control this unit.

Use the supplied remote connection cable
to connect the REMOTE CONTROL IN
terminal of this unit to REMOTE CONTROL
OUT terminal of the amplifier.

Setting
Set the remote control switch on the rear
panel of this unit to “EXT.” to use this
