You can use these tools to detect the connectivity and troubleshoot it when required. This chapter covers the following topics: Ping As part of the diagnostics tools supported by the Nuclias cloud gateway, you can ping an IP address or FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name). You can use this feature to test connectivity between the Nuclias cloud gateway and another device on the network connected to the gateway. The fields available in this section are as follows: Field IP address/FQDN Ping Result Description Enter the IP address or FQDN. Click Ping to send an ICMP echo request packet to the destination using the IPv4 network. It displays the result of the IP address. If the destination IP address is active, you can see a response. A response timed-out message indicates that the destination is either not active or is blocking ping requests. Traceroute The Nuclias cloud gateway provides a Traceroute function to map the network path to a public host. In addition, it displays up to 30 "hops" between this gateway and the destination. speed of the WAN port. You can use these tools to detect the connectivity and troubleshoot it when required.

Ping
As part of the diagnostics tools supported by the Nuclias cloud gateway, you can ping an IP address or FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name).
You can use this feature to test connectivity between the Nuclias cloud gateway and another device on the network connected to the gateway.
