To set how long the backlighting stays on if you do not use your handheld, in the handheld options, click Screen/Keyboard. Set the Backlight Timeout field. Adjust the brightness for the backlighting. In the handheld options, click Screen/Keyboard. Change the Backlight Brightness field. Note: The Backlight Brightness field is only available on some BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds with color screens. Set a screen saver 1. In the handheld options, click Screen/ Keyboard. 2. Set the Standby Screen field to Enabled. 3. In the Standby Timeout field, set the amount of time before the screen saver appears. 4. Click the trackwheel. 5. Click Save. You can set an image that you saved from a web page as your screen saver. In the pictures list, click an image. Click Set As Standby Screen. Save your changes. Note: The screen saver is only available for BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds with color screens. If you do not use your handheld for a period of
time, the backlighting turns off automatically.
To set how long the backlighting stays on if you
do not use your handheld, in the handheld
options, click
Screen/Keyboard.
Set the
Backlight
Timeout
field.
Adjust the brightness for the backlighting. In the
handheld options, click
Screen/Keyboard.
Change
the
Backlight Brightness
field.
Note:
The
Backlight Brightness
field is only available on
some BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds with color
screens.
Set a screen saver
1.
In the handheld options, click
Screen/
Keyboard.
2.
Set the
Standby Screen
field to
Enabled.
3.
In the
Standby Timeout

of time before the screen saver appears.
4.
Click the trackwheel.
5.
Click
Save.
You can set an image that you saved from a web
page as your screen saver. In the pictures list, click
an image. Click
Set As Standby Screen.
Save your
