E LCD - Parameter setting/display When the key is turned from OFF to ON, the instrument panel turns on all LCD digits for one second and all warning lights one by one. It then switches to "normal" display mode showing the model indication in place of the road speed readout and the version (EU, UK, USA, CND, FRA, JAP) for 2 seconds. Model is displayed as scrolling text until the engine is started. 1198 R vs. EU, UK, CND, FRA, JAP 1198 R vs. USA If the vehicle is installed with the Ducati Performance kit "Complete Exhaust" (fig. 59), at key-on the instrument panel will display the message: Note The Ducati Performance kit "Complete Exhaust" is intended for track use ONLY.
