MAIN USE AND MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS the two screws (4) joining the right and left body panels at the bottom end. Side fairings, single-seater (749S) Remove the body panels as follows: remove the four quick fasteners (3) with their ring securing the body panels to the frame. On the right-hand side, gain access to the tool kit, take the Allen key for the fairing and remove the following: the two screws (1) securing the body panels to the brackets; the two screws (2) securing the body panels to the headlamp fairing; the two screws (4) joining the right and left body panels at the bottom end. Removing the fairing Some servicing operations need the motorcycle fairing to be removed. Warning Firmly and properly secure all removed parts when refitting them, otherwise some of them might suddenly come off when riding and you may lose control of your motorcycle. Important At re-assembly always fit nylon washers when tightening fastening screws, so as not to damage painted parts and the Plexiglas windshield of the headlamp fairing.
