INTRODUCTION PRE-INSTALL INSTALL NETWORK ACCESS CONTROL Door Board Overview The CAPXL / CAPXLV has a combination of access control inputs/outputs on the Door Boards that work in conjunction to control up to 4 access points. DOOR BOARD 1 Door 1 Door 2 WIEGAND INPUT WIEGAND INPUT DOOR BOARD 2 Door 3 Door 4 WIEGAND INPUT WIEGAND INPUT REQUEST TO EXIT STATUS PRIMARY RELAY AUXILIARY RELAY WIEGAND OUTPUT STATUS REQUEST TO EXIT PRIMARY RELAY AUXILIARY RELAY REQUEST TO EXIT STATUS PRIMARY RELAY AUXILIARY RELAY NOT USED STATUS REQUEST TO EXIT PRIMARY RELAY AUXILIARY RELAY INPUT/OUTPUT Wiegand Input Request to Exit Status Primary Relay Auxiliary Relay Wiegand Output USED FOR Proximity Readers, ASCII keypads, RFID readers transmitting 26-bit *30-bit, *32-bit Mifare, *and *37 bit with or without facility code. (12 Vdc Power for readers only. Do not use to power external devices) External Free Exit Loop Detectors, Push Buttons, and Proximity Sensors Door Sensors, Supervised Gate Operators, and EOL (End of Line) Wiring Closed Door Sensor, Closed Gate Sensor, Supervised with EOL (End of Line) or unsupervised Gate Operators, Door Strikes, and Maglocks Gate Operator, Door Strikes, Alarm Shunt, Maglocks and Lights (for control only - power to be provided by external supply 26 Bit Access Granted Activity for integration with third party systems *NOTE: Only the 26-bit weigand protocol is compatible in UL installations. 6
