Throttle cable free play: 2.0-3.0 mm (0.08-0.12 in) 3. Tighten the locknut. TIP Refer to the "Starting the engine" section on page 35. 2. Hold the pivot point of the throttle lever away from the throttle switch by putting your thumb (above) and forefinger (below) between the throttle lever pivot and the engine stop switch housing. While holding the pivot point as described above, squeeze the throttle lever gradually. ESU11850 Checking the throttle cable free play (PZ50VT) Check the throttle cable free play. When checking the T.O.R.S., take precau-

Make sure that the throttle lever moves

checking the T.O.R.S.
Make sure that the parking brake is ap-

Do not rev the engine to the point that
the clutch engages.
Check the T.O.R.S. for proper operation.

away from the throttle switch by putting

low) between the throttle lever pivot and
the engine stop switch housing.
While holding the pivot point as described
above, squeeze the throttle lever gradu-
ally.
