Remove the coolant recovery tank cap, add the recommended coolant until it reaches the "COLD LEVEL" mark, and then install the cap. Make sure that the drive guard is tightened securely before operating the snowmobile to protect against severe injury or death from a broken V-belt or other part should it come off the snowmobile while it is in operation. add the recommended coolant until it
reaches the “COLD LEVEL” mark, and
then install the cap.

Start the engine, allow it to idle for several

Check for any coolant leakage. If coolant
is leaking, check for the cause.
7.
Check the coolant level in the coolant
reservoir. If it is not full, remove the cool-
ant reservoir cap, fill the reservoir with the
recommended coolant, and then install
the cap.
TIP
If you find any leaks, consult a Yamaha deal-
er.
8.
Install the top cover.

To check the V-belt
1.

er, and then remove the drive guard.
