Compression damping force adjusting knob TIP The damping forces will not decrease past the minimum levels even if the adjusting knobs are turned out more than the minimum settings. ESU13083 Compression damping setting: Minimum (soft): 12 click(s) in direction (b)* Standard: 7 click(s) in direction (b)* Maximum (hard): 2 click(s) in direction (b)* * With the adjusting knob fully turned in direction (a) Rebound damping force The rebound damping force of each shock absorber can be adjusted by turning its rebound damping force adjusting knob. To increase the rebound damping force, turn the adjusting knob in direction (a). To decrease the rebound damping force, turn the adjusting knob in direction (b). Adjusting the spring preload of the rear shock absorber The spring preload can be adjusted by turning the adjusting nut on the rear shock absorber. Adjust the spring preload as follows. 1. Loosen the locknut. 2. To increase the spring preload and thereby harden the suspension, turn the adjusting nut in direction (a).
