Pre-operation checks ITEM Tool kit and recommended equipment Shroud latches (PZ50VT) Shroud and covers Skis and ski runners Drive track Slide runners Steering Strap (PZ50MT) Lights, signals and switches Throttle lever Throttle override system (T.O.R.S.) CHECKS • Check for proper placement. • Make sure that the shroud latches are hooked. • Make sure that the shroud and covers are securely fastened. • Check for wear and damage. • If necessary, have Yamaha dealer replace skis or ski runners. • Check for deflection, wear and damage. • If necessary, have Yamaha dealer replace track. • Check for wear and damage. • If necessary, have Yamaha dealer replace slide runners. • Check for excessive free play. • Check for damage. • Replace if necessary. • Check operation. • Correct if necessary. • Make sure that operation is smooth and spring back to its home position when released. • Check the T.O.R.S. for proper operation. • If system is defective, have Yamaha dealer check vehicle.
