Control functions G Be sure to use the specified spark plug and spark plug cap. Otherwise, the T.O.R.S. will not work properly. Running If the throttle bodies or throttle cable malfunctions during operation, the T.O.R.S. will operate when the throttle lever is released. The T.O.R.S. is designed to override the fuel injection and limit the engine speed to less than the clutch engagement speed if the throttle valves fail to return to the idle position when the throttle lever is released. The T.O.R.S. monitors the condition of the throttle position sensor, speedometer assembly, and speed sensor, and will operate if any of the monitored items is disconnected or is malfunctioning. 10
