MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT 97 Carburetor The idle speed adjustment should be performed in accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart or whenever the idle speed is changed. The following procedure covers the idle speed adjustment. Loosen and turn the choke cable mounting nuts
next to the starter lever until the cable has the
proper amount of play.

Tighten the nuts after adjustment.
