GENERAL INFORMATION 33 Maximum Cargo Bed Load: 181 kg (400 lb) j Choke Knob The choke knob located on the dashboard, to the left of the steering wheel, provides a rich mixture for cold starting. Pull the choke knob all the way to start the engine. Warm the engine up using the choke and throttle until the idle speed is stable, and then push the choke knob back. Refer to the "Starting the Engine" section in the "How to Operate" chapter for detailed information. WARNING Overloading or improper use of the cargo bed can cause changes in handling which can lead to an accident. Follow guidelines provided in the "LOADING INFORMATION" chapter. Passengers riding in the cargo bed can be tossed about or even thrown out causing serious injury or death. Do not install seating or carry passengers in the cargo bed. Driving with the cargo bed tilted may be hazardous. Always lower and latch the bed before driving. Be careful not to catch any part of your body, such as hands or arms, between the bed and ROPS or vehicle frame when lifting and lowering the bed. A. Choke Knob NOTE żIf the choke is left on (pulled out) after the engine has warmed up, spark plug fouling and poor fuel economy may result.
