Lubrication Lubricate the areas shown in the illustrations of this section with either motor oil or regular grease, after each race and whenever the vehicle has been operated under wet or rainy conditions, especially after using a high-pressure spray washer. Before lubricating a part, clean off any rust with rust remover and wipe off any grease, oil, dirt, or grime. j WARNING Rubber protectants can be slippery and, if used on the tread area, cause loss of traction resulting in accident causing injury or death. Do not apply rubber protectant to any tread area. General Lubrication Lever • Clutch Front Brake Lever • Apply motor oil to the following pivots:

WARNING
Rubber protectants can be slippery and, if
used on the tread area, cause loss of traction
resulting in accident causing injury or death.
Do not apply rubber protectant to any tread
area.
