NOAA operates more than 940 transmitters covering the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the U.S. Pacific Territories and adjacent coastal waterways. Press and release the MODE button until the desired source is active. When the WX source is selected, a total of 7 weather band channels are available. Typically, only one weather band channel will be available for a given location. When traveling, if a channel becomes unavailable, search for another active channel.
