Setting Up the Label Printer Setting the Menu Security 1 When setting the menu security, access to the Administration mode can be restricted by setting a password. 1 a Press the Menu, ▲, or ▼ Button to select the [Administration] menu, and then press the OK Button. b Select [Menu Security], press ▲ or ▼ to select [On], and then press the OK Button. Specify the first number using ▲ or ▼, and then press the OK Button to proceed to the next number. Specify the remaining three numbers in the same way. Note • After a password has been set, the password input screen appears when the [Administration] menu is selected. Enter the specified 4-digit password using ▲ or ▼, and then press the OK Button. • To cancel the password settings, select the [Administration] menu and enter the password. Then, select [Menu Security] > [Off]. • If you do not remember the password, use [Device settings] in the Printer Setting Tool to return all settings to their factory defaults, or specify the password again and apply it.
