Maintenance Fuse Replacement NOTICE: Use fuses with the recommended amperage to avoid damage to the electrical system. Fuse Recommendations Fuse Application Fuse Size Engine 15 amp Fuel Pump/Ignition Coil 15 amp Lights 20 amp Turn Signals/Horn 10 amp Ignition 10 amp Chassis 20 amp Accessory 20 amp (under left side cover) CROSS COUNTRY ONLY Radio 25 amp (in fairing behind headlight) Tip: Use the fuse puller provided in the tool kit to remove a fuse. Fuse Box Label 1. Remove the right side cover. 2. Lift the release tab and slide the fuse box upward to remove it from the bracket. Release the tabs on each side of the fuse box cover and remove the cover. Tip: The reverse fuse (if equipped) is located on the debris flap at the front of the rear tire. Fuse Box Accessory Fuse (if equipped) 3. Remove the damaged fuse and seat the new fuse firmly in its place. 4. Reinstall the fuse box cover with the double cut-out to the left (with print readable from right side of motorcycle). 5. Reinstall the fuse box and the side cover. 80

Fuse Replacement
NOTICE:
Use fuses with the recommended amperage to avoid damage to the electrical system.
Tip:
Use the fuse puller provided in the tool kit to remove a fuse.
1.
Remove the right side cover.
2.
Lift the release tab and slide the fuse box
upward to remove it from the bracket.
Release the tabs on each side of the fuse
box cover and remove the cover.
Tip:
The reverse fuse (if equipped) is located on the
debris flap at the front of the rear tire.
3.
Remove the damaged fuse and seat the
new fuse firmly in its place.
4.
Reinstall the fuse box cover with the dou-
ble cut-out to the left (with print readable
from right side of motorcycle).
5.
Reinstall the fuse box and the side cover.
