38 GENERAL INFORMATION NOTE j żThe data is maintained by the back-up power if the ignition switch is turned off. żWhen the trip meter is reset while the vehicle is stopped, it starts counting as soon as the vehicle starts moving. żWhen the trip meter reaches 999.9 when the vehicle is running, it turns back to 0.0 and starts counting again. żWhen the battery is disconnected, the meter display resets to 0.0.
