30 GENERAL INFORMATION żThe data is maintained by the back NOTE -up power if the ignition key is turned off. żWhen the trip meter reaches 999.9 while riding, the meter is reset to 0.0 and continues counting. żWhen the battery is disconnected, the meter display is reset to 0.0. Lap Counter/Coolant Temperature Meter The Lap counter/coolant temperature meter shows either the lap number or the coolant temperature. The lap number is displayed when in the stop watch mode. The coolant temperature is displayed as follows. Start the engine. If the coolant temperature is below 40 °C (104 °F), no temperature is displayed. •
