It briefly comes on when the ignition is switched to ON and normally goes out a few seconds after engine starts. It may shortly come on when the engine is very hot, however, it should go out as the engine revs up. The light comes on to signal that the vehicle has covered the distance corresponding to a Scheduled Maintenance interval. The light keeps flashing until the vehicle has travelled 50 km after hitting the service interval. Then it stays on permanently. The system shall be reset by the DUCATI Authorised Service Center that has serviced the vehicle. 13
