Clutch system If the control lever has exceeding play and the transmission snatches or jams as you try to engage a gear, it means that there is air in the circuit. Contact your Ducati dealer or an authorized workshop to have the system inspected and air drained out. Warning Brake fluid level will increase as clutch plate friction material wears down. Do not exceed specified level (3 mm above minimum level). Checking brake pads for wear (fig. 29) Front brake To facilitate inspection without removing the pads from the calipers, brake pads have a wear mark. If the grooves in the friction material are still visible, the pad is still in good condition. Rear brake Friction material on each pad must be at least 1 mm thick.
