Nighthawk WiFi 7 Tri-Band Router Model RS700 • C. 10G LAN port: An RJ-45 LAN port that supports speeds up to 10 Gbps. Use a Category 6 (Cat6) Ethernet cable or higher rated Ethernet cable to connect the router to a high-speed LAN server, LAN storage device, or another LAN device. • D. Ethernet LAN ports: Four Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 LAN ports that support 1G, 100M, and 10M speed. Use these ports to connect Ethernet LAN devices to your router. The router supports port aggregation: - LAN aggregation: Use Ethernet LAN ports 1 and 2 to set up a port aggregation link to a LAN device that also supports Ethernet LAN port aggregation. For more information, see Manage Ethernet LAN port aggregation to a LAN device on page 113. - Internet (WAN) aggregation: Use Ethernet LAN port 4 with the 10G Internet port to set up a multi-gigabit Internet connection with port aggregation. For more information, see Get multi-gigabit Internet with Internet port aggregation on page 41. You can set up both Internet (WAN) aggregation and LAN aggregation. • E. USB 3.0 port: Use the USB 3.0 port to connect a USB storage device to your router. • F. 10G Internet port: An RJ-45 Internet port (marked with yellow) that supports speeds up to 10 Gbps. Use a Category 6 (Cat6) Ethernet cable or higher rated Ethernet cable to connect a high-speed modem for a high-speed Internet connection.
