Cause Option This error occurred because [Composite Overprint] was not set to ON. * Composite Overprint: Function that overprints object colors arranged in multiple layers. The layered part is printed in the mixed colors. If this function is set to OFF, the upper-layer color is not affected by the lowerlayer color, so the overlapped part is printed in only the upper-layer color. The following example shows a procedure using the PS Plug-in Driver. 1. Open the target PDF file, select PS Plug-in Driver, and open [Properties]. 2. Select the [Management] tab, and click [Acquire Color Management Data]. 3. Select the [Manual Settings] check box, and select [Quality] in [Composite Overprint] of the [Optional Settings] tab to print the file The following example shows a procedure using Job Centro. 1. Start Color Centro, and open [Color Configuration Management]. 2. Right-click the currently selected color configuration (e.g.: [default_ISOcoated]) in [Color Configuration Management], and copy it. 3. Select the copied color configuration, and click [Setting]. 4. Select [High Quality] in [Composite Overprint], and click [OK]. 5. Click [Register] on the upper-left side. Then, right-click the specified color configuration, and specify [Set to Color Configuration Default]. After this, print data from Job Centro. 2.3.9 The extended machine cannot be accessed using Job Centro. Cause Option This error occurred because an invalid paper profile was registered in the extended machine. The paper profile is checked by Job Centro when the machine is accessed. However, under the current specifications, this access is interrupted if an invalid paper profile is registered, and this phenomenon occurs. Check whether the paper profile data obtained from another machine is imported to the machine that cannot be accessed using Job Centro. If the paper profile is not imported, this issue is not applicable. 2. When the paper profile is imported, open Register/Delete Paper Setting in [Reg./Del. Paper Set] from the control panel of the machine in which this problem occurs. 3. If any paper profile provides the weight that is not available for the extended machine, delete it. Cause
This error occurred because [Composite Overprint] was not set to ON.
* Composite Overprint: Function that overprints object colors arranged in mul-
tiple layers. The layered part is printed in the mixed colors.
If this function is set to OFF, the upper-layer color is not affected by the lower-
layer color, so the overlapped part is printed in only the upper-layer color.
