CUSTOMIZING YOUR QUEST> CUSTOMIZING THE WELCOME PAGE AND VIEWING SOFTWARE AND UNIT INFORMATION Customizing the Welcome Page You can customize the Welcome page that appears when you turn on your Quest. 1. Press MENU two times, highlight Welcome Setup, and press OK. 2. Use the on-screen keyboard to type in your message and select Done. When you turn on the Quest again, your message appears. Viewing Software and Unit Information The About Quest page displays the software version that is currently loaded in the Quest. It also shows the Quest's unit ID number, which is used for registration and identiﬁcation purposes. 1. Press MENU two times, and highlight About Quest. 2. Press OK to close the window. Default Welcome Page Software updates for your Quest can be found periodically at our Customized Welcome Page Web site at www.garmin.com.
