To remove the optane card: a) Remove the M2.0 x 3 screw that secures the optane card to the system [1]. b) Lift and slide the optane card away from the system [2]. c) Peel the thermal pad [3]. Installing the optane card 1. Affix the thermal pad into the slot on the system board. 2. Insert the Optane card into the card slot on the system board. 3. Removing the optane card
1.
Follow the procedure in
Before working inside your computer

2.
Remove the
base cover
.
3.
To remove the optane card:
a)
Remove the M2.0 x 3 screw that secures the optane card to the system [1].
b)
Lift and slide the optane card away from the system [2].
c)
Peel the thermal pad [3].
Installing the optane card
1.
Affix the thermal pad into the slot on the system board.
2.
Insert the Optane card into the card slot on the system board.
3.
Replace the M2.0 x 3 screw to secure the Optane card to the system.
4.
Install the
base cover
