Control functions ESU10884 Adjusting the spring preload of the front shock absorbers EWS00720 WARNING The spring preload of the left and right shock absorbers must be adjusted to the same setting. Uneven settings can cause poor handling and loss of stability. The spring preload can be adjusted by turning the adjusting rings. To increase the spring preload and thereby harden the suspension, turn the adjusting ring in direction (a). To decrease the spring preload and thereby soften the suspension, turn the adjusting ring in direction (b). Center shock absorber To increase the spring preload and thereby harden the suspension, turn the adjusting ring in direction (a).
