Control functions ESU12691 Main switch The main switch controls the ignition and lighting systems. The various positions are described below. 1 2 3 1. ESU10312 Throttle lever Once the engine is running cleanly, squeezing the throttle lever will increase the engine speed and cause engagement of the drive train. Regulate the speed of the snowmobile by varying the throttle position. Because the throttle is spring-loaded, the snowmobile will decelerate, and the engine will return to idle when it is released.
