Connect the positive lead first, and then connect the negative lead. NOTICE: When installing the battery, the main switch must be off, and the positive lead must be connected before the negative lead.[ECB01110] 3. Make sure that the breather hose is properly routed, in good condition, and not obstructed. NOTICE: If the breather hose is positioned in such a way that the frame is exposed to electrolyte or gas expelled from the battery, the frame could suffer structural and external damages.[ECB00611] 1. To install the battery

Be sure the battery is fully charged.

Install the battery.
2.
Connect the positive lead first, and then con-
nect the negative lead.

stalling the battery, the main switch must
be off, and the positive lead must be con-
nected before the negative lead.
