Control functions ESU10720 EWS00090 Shroud and covers Securely fasten the shroud and covers before operating the snowmobile. (See page 45 for removal and installation procedures.) • Do not drive the snowmobile with the shroud or covers unfastened or removed. • Keep your body and clothing away from rotating parts when servicing the snowmobile with the shroud or covers removed. • Do not touch the hot muffler and engine during or immediately after operation. ECS00370 CAUTION: 1 . Shroud 2. Right side cover Make sure that all cables, leads, etc., are routed properly before installing the shroud and covers. ESU10750 Drive guard The drive guard is designed to cover the Vbelt clutch and V-belt in case parts break or come loose. 1. Left side cover 1. Drive guard EWS00400 1. Top cover • Make sure that the drive guard is tightened securely before operating the snowmobile. • Never run the engine with the V-belt or drive guard removed. 21
