MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION Steering Assembly The steering assembly of the ATV should be checked periodically for loose nuts and bolts. If loose nuts and bolts are found, see your Polaris dealer for service before operating the vehicle. Camber and Caster The camber and caster are non-adjustable. Rear Spring The rear shock absorber spring is adjusted by rotating the adjuster (1) either clockwise or counterclockwise to increase or decrease spring tension. NOTE: Accessory springs are available through your Polaris dealer. 1 Throttle Cable Freeplay Throttle cable freeplay is adjusted at the handlebar. 1. Slide the boots (1) off the inline cable adjuster sleeve (2). Loosen the adjuster locknut (3). 2. Turn the adjuster until 1/16″ to 1/8″ freeplay is achieved at the thumb lever. NOTE: While adjusting freeplay, be sure to flip the throttle lever back and forth. 3. Tighten the locknut and slide the boots over the cable adjuster until they touch at the midpoint of the adjuster. 1 2 3 1 78

ThrottleCableFreeplay
Throttle cable freeplay is adjusted at the handlebar.

Slide the boots (1) off the inline cable adjuster sleeve (2). Loosen
the adjuster locknut (3).
2.
Turn the adjuster until 1/16
to 1/8
freeplay is achieved at the
thumb lever.
NOTE:
Whileadjustingfreeplay,besuretoflipthethrottleleverback
andforth.
3.
Tighten the locknut and slide the boots over the cable adjuster until
they touch at the midpoint of the adjuster.
