PRE-OPERATION CHECK Check Rear Brake Fluid Level 1. To check the rear brake fluid level, remove right side cover. Straddle the motorcycle and bring it to a vertical position. 2. View the brake fluid through the reservoir (1). The fluid should be clear and at a level between minimum (MIN) and maximum (MAX) marks on the side of the reservoir.
