Windshield Wipers The Battery Rundown Protection feature will also be activated when any door of your vehicle is leftopen. Also, if your vehicle is left with the ignition turned off for over24 days, battery power to yourclock, audio system and Remote Lock Control (if you have this option) will be turned to off reduce battery drain. When the ignition is turned on again, battery power will be resupplied. However, under these conditions, it willbe necessary to reset the clock and audio system settings. You control the windshield wipers by moving the stalk up or down. For a SingleWiper Cycle: Push the stalk down toMIST, then release it. For more cycles, holdthe stalk down longer. For Steady Wiper Cycles: Move the stalk up toeither LOW or HIGH, depending on the wiper speed you want. To Turn Wipers Off: Move the stalk to OW. Damaged wiper bladesmay prevent you from seeingwell enough to drive safely. To avoid damage, be sure to clear ice and snow from the wiper blades behre using them.
