MODEL SERIES 50 AND 51 TRANSMITTER F.C.C. rules prohibit adjustments to or modification of receiver and/or transmitter circuitry except for changing the code setting and replacing the transmitter battery. Press the RECEIVER Smart Button on the back panel of the opener (illustration A). The indicator light will turn ON. 2. STAND AWAY FROM THE DOOR and press the transmitter push button. The indicator light will turn OFF and the door will move. Receiver and transmitter(s) codes now match and the opener will operate when either wall push button or transmitter push button is pressed. NOTE: If transmitter push button is not pressed within 30 seconds, the indicator light will turn OFF. Begin again at Step 1. 114A1217 1. Locate the receiver code switches in the rear panel of the garage door opener (Illustration B). 2. Hold a transmitter (with code switches visible) alongside the receiver. Set the receiver code switches to match the position of each transmitter switch. For receivers with less code switches than transmitter, set excess transmitter switches to the center (0) position. push button. The indicator light will turn OFF and the door will
move. Receiver and transmitter(s) codes now match and the
opener will operate when either wall push button or transmitter
push button is
pressed.
NOTE: If transmitter push button is not pressed within 30
seconds, the indicator light will turn OFF. Begin again at Step
1.
