You can select the unit of temperature displayed on the LCD panel. When you set EXTRA HIGH to the SET ROLL PAPER TENSION setting in the CUSTOM PAPER SETUP menu of the PAPER SETUP menu in the Menu mode, you can change the value of Roll Paper Tension on a scale of one to five. When you set the value larger, the tension is stronger. You can perform ultrasonic head cleaning. You can set all setting values you made in the Menu mode to their factory set value. You can set the number of times that the printer performs cleaning when it performs a nozzle check and detects missing dots. You can make custom settings. You do not use this normally. 27

Maintenance Mode
You can change the language or unit used on the
display or return all the setting values to their factory
default.

Turn off the printer by pressing the
button.
B
Press both the
button and the
button at the same time to turn on the printer.
Hold down both buttons until
MAINTENANCE
MODE
is displayed on the LCD panel.
Refer to the "Maintenance mode list" on the
right for details.
The setting procedures are the same as those
