Section 3 - Configuration Auto Configuration Auto Configuration is a connection method where the ISP assigns your IPv6 address when your router requests one from the ISP's server. Some ISPs require you to change some settings on your side before your router can connect to the IPv6 Internet. DNS Type: Select either Obtain DNS server address or Use the following DNS . Primary DNS If you selected Use the following DNS address above, enter the Server: Primary DNS Server address. Secondary DNS If you selected Use the following DNS address above, enter the Server: Secondary DNS Server address. Enable DHCP-PD: Enable or disable prefix delegation services. LAN IPv6 Address: If you disabled DHCP-PD, enter the LAN (local) IPv6 address for the router. LAN IPv6 Link- Displays the router's LAN Link-Local Address. Local Address: Enable Automatic Enable or disable the Automatic IPv6 Address Assignment IPv6 Address feature. Assignment: Enable Automatic Enable or disable Automatic DHCP-PD in LAN services. DHCP-PD in LAN: Autoconfiguration Select SLAAC + RDNSS, SLAAC + Stateless DHCP, or Stateful Type: DHCPv6. Router Enter the IPv6 address lifetime (in minutes).
