• • • Be sure that snow and /or ice does not enter into the fuel tank when refueling. Do not use alcohol deicers or water absorbing additives with oxygenated fuel. The tank should be filled with straight gasoline as specified. ESU00084 ENGINE OIL Make sure there is sufficient oil in the oil tank. 1 Lower level 2 Upper level 800-006 Oil tank capacity: 2.5 L (2.2 Imp qt, 2.6 US qt) Recommended oil: YAMALUBE 2-cycle oil ESU00087 THROTTLE LEVER Check the throttle lever operation before starting the engine. It must open smoothly and spring back to idle when released. 816-025 ESU00088 MANUAL STARTER Check for proper operation. Check the rope for damage. 815-006 6-2
