Even if you buc klle up, your safety belts can't do their when job you're reclined like this. The shoulderbelt can't do its because it job won't be against yourbody. Instead, it will b e in front of you. In a crash you could go into it, receiving neck or other injuries. The lapbelt can't do its either. In a crash the job belt could go up over your abdomen. The belt forces wouldbe there, not at your pelvic bones. This could cause serious internal injuries. For proper protectionwhen the vehicle is in motion, have the seatback upright. Then sit well back in the seat and wear your safety belt properly.
