Display messages Possible cause/consequence EBV, ABS, ESP Inoperative See Operator's Man. The brake system is still functioning normally but due to a malfunction, the ABS, the BAS, the EBP, the ESP® and the PRESAFE® are unavailable. Possible solution X ; (USA only) 3 (Canada only) Continue driving with added caution. Wheels may lock during hard braking, reducing steering capability. Adjust driving to be consistent with reduced braking responsiveness. Have the system checked at an authorized Mercedes-Benz Center as soon as possible. Release the parking brake.
