Controls in detail Loading and storing X X Place folded ski bag inside recess of seat backrest. Close ski bag compartment cover. Removing the ski bag For ski bag removal, we recommend that you contact an authorized Mercedes-Benz Center. 1 Strap X Tighten strap 1 by pulling at the loose end (arrow) until the skis in the ski bag are tightly secured. 1 Hook 2 Eye X Connect hook 1 to eye 2 located in the front storage compartment in the rear center console. Tighten strap by pulling at the loose end (arrow). G Warning! Never drive vehicle with trunk open while the ski bag is removed. Deadly carbon monoxide (CO) gases may enter vehicle interior, resulting in unconsciousness and death. To prevent unauthorized persons from access to the trunk, always close the cover. X Unloading and folding X X X Loosen both straps. Disconnect hook 1 from eye 2. Unload skis. Close flap in trunk. Fold and flatten ski bag lengthwise. 1 Cover X X X With insert or cup holder removed, fold cover 1 upward. 176
