Electric starter is engaged by holding ignition switch key in this position, when shift lever is in "N" (neutral) position or applying brake pedal. Included with the key is a key number, which is stamped on the key itself. Record the key number in the space provided and store the number in a safe place. START NOTICE Do not operate the starter continuously for more than 5 seconds, or the starter will overheat and the battery power will drop temporarily. Wait 15 seconds between each operation of the starter to let it cool and for the battery to recover power. START
Electric starter is engaged by holding
ignition switch key in this position,
when shift lever is in “N” (neutral)
position or applying brake pedal.
Upon release, key will return to “ON”
position.
NOTICE
Do not operate the starter continuously for
more than 5 seconds,
or the starter will
overheat and the battery power will drop
temporarily. Wait 15 seconds between each
operation of the starter to let it cool and for
the battery to recover power.

“START” position with the engine running, or
