In this case, the shifting is unsuccessful and the electric shifting mechanism is reserving the shifting. See the "2WD/4WD/Differential Shifting" section in the "HOW TO OPERATE" chapter. CASE 3: [4WD ĸ DIFF-LOCK] "2WD" indicator symbol and "4WD" indicator symbol light alternately, and the differential gear lock indicator light goes on. Gear Lock Indicator Light
When shifting, the indicator may display as fol-
lows.
CASE 1: [2WD ° 4WD] or [4WD ° DIFF-LOCK]
“2WD” indicator symbol and “4WD” indicator sym-
bol appear alternately. In this case, the electric shift-
ing mechanism may have failed. See an authorized
Kawasaki dealer for inspection.
CASE 2: [2WD ± 4WD]
“2WD” indicator symbol and “4WD” indicator sym-
bol appear alternately. In this case, the shifting is un-
successful and the electric shifting mechanism is re-
serving the shifting. See the “2WD/4WD/Differential
Shifting” section in the “HOW TO OPERATE” chap-
ter.
CASE 3: [4WD ± DIFF-LOCK]
“2WD” indicator symbol and “4WD” indicator sym-
bol light alternately, and the differential gear lock in-
dicator light goes on. In this case, the shifting is un-
successful and the electric shifting mechanism is re-
serving the shifting. See the “2WD/4WD/Differential
Shifting” section in the “HOW TO OPERATE” chap-
ter.
