To access the main fuse, remove the left half-fairing (page 246). The main fuse (C, Fig 190), is positioned next to the battery, on the solenoid starter (D, Fig 190). Remove the fuse cap (E, Fig 190), to reach it. A blown fuse is identified by the interrupted center link (F, Fig 191). E C D Important Switch the ignition key to OFF before replacing the fuse to avoid possible short-circuits. Attention Never use a fuse with a rating other than specified.
