Adjusting the position of the gearchange and rear brake pedals The gear change and rear brake pedals can be adjusted to suit the preferred riding position of each rider. To adjust the position, proceed as follows: hold the rod (1) and slacken the counter nuts (2) and (3). Nut (2) has a lefthand thread. Note 2 Fit an open-end wrench to hexagonal element of linkage (1) and rotate until setting pedal in the desired position. Tighten both check nuts onto linkage. 1 3 Fig. 51 94

Adjusting the position of the gearchange
and rear brake pedals
The gear change and rear brake pedals can be
adjusted to suit the preferred riding position of each
rider.
To adjust the position, proceed as follows: hold the
rod (1) and slacken the counter nuts (2) and (3).
Note
Nut (2) has a lefthand thread.
Fit an open-end wrench to hexagonal element of
linkage (1) and rotate until setting pedal in the desired
position.
Tighten both check nuts onto linkage.
