➤ Ignition controlled door lock feature, on or off. With this feature on, the doors will lock three seconds after the ignition key is turned on, and unlock when the ignition is turned off. The system also prevents the doors from locking when the ignition is turned on while any vehicle door is open. Security & convenience expansions Listed below are some of the many expansion options available for use with your system. Please consult your dealer for a detailed explanation of all the available options. Audio Sensor: Metal on glass, glass cracking, and breaking glass produce distinctive acoustic signatures. The 506T audio sensor uses a microphone to detect these sounds, and then analyzes them with proprietary acoustic software to determine if the glass has been tampered with or broken. Backup Battery: The 520T Backup Battery ensures that the system stays armed, triggers the alarm and keeps the optional starter interrupt active if main battery power is disconnected. Comfort Closure: This feature is designed to integrate with vehicles that can close the power windows and sunroof by holding the key in the driver door lock position, and will operate on both single input systems and two pulses input dead bolt systems. © 2004 Directed Electronics, Inc. 17
